>> Just for Kids

At Alpine we value the family and we believe church should be a place for the whole family. Every Sunday we run Kids Church alongside our regular services, which provides a fun, safe and age-appropriate place for kids to learn and grow in the Christian faith. We have classes available for infants, toddlers, preschool, kindergarten–1st grade, 2nd-3rd grade, 4th-5th grade, and 6th grade. We also have a full youth ministry for 7th-12th grade students called fusion Student Ministries.

We understand that parents can sometimes be uncertain about dropping their kids off in an unfamiliar place, so below we’ve tried to explain some of the key aspects of our Kids Church ministry. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us anytime and we would be happy to help in any way we can!

Check-in

Part of our commitment to safety is to provide a quick but secure check-in system. As a guest, we ask you to grab a temporary tag for your child at the check-in area of Kids Church. Please write your child’s name on both the kid’s tag and the parent’s tag. Place the kid’s tag on the child, using the safety pin or lanyard, and keep the parent’s tag with you. These tags are numbered, and you will be required to present the matching parent’s tag with the kid’s tag to pick up your child. Check-in is only required for newborn through 2nd grade.

Age Groups

We divide our kids into the following age groups: nursery, toddler, preschool, K-1st, 2-3rd, 4-5th, and 6th (10:30 am service in Layton and Riverdale).

Safety

Safety is our top priority. We try to do everything possible to provide a safe and secure environment for kids. We have developed an extensive safety policy which is designed to protect your kids. This policy is posted in every classroom and a copy is available for you upon request. Click here to see our Kids Church safety policy.
