Alpine 201

After taking Alpine 101, we encourage everyone to take Alpine 201. In this 8 week workshop, 201 presents the pathway of how to pursue God. By looking at the Alpine “circles” of Biblical Truth, Intentional Relationships and Outward Purpose, we give you practical teaching on how to take the next step in your relationship with God. This is for anybody who wants to make Alpine Church their home. (begins January 17th)

Calm My Anxious Heart (for women)
Women worry a lot. We fret about our children, our friends, our careers, our spouses – the list goes on and on! If you’re tired of being held hostage to a million “what ifs,” Dillow’s 12-week Bible study will provide the help you need to exchange your anxieties for godly peace and contentment.

The Book of Romans (for men)
Romans is one of the most powerful and challenging books of the Bible. It presents the reality of our sin, the solution in Christ and what it all practically means for our lives. In this class we will specifically look at this book from a men’s perspective. How does the truth of Romans uniquely effect the life of men.

The Book of 1st John
This book is written to encourage and challenge believers in their spiritual journey. It is full of comparisons of dark to light, the love of the world and the love of God. It speaks of the children of God and the children of Satan. It speaks of the spirit of the antichrist and the Spirit of God. This will be a verse by verse study that will unpack the treasure of this book.

Believing God: Experiencing a Fresh Explosion of Faith (for women)
Do you take God at His Word, believing what He has told us, or do you just believe in His existence and the salvation He offers? Based on Isaiah 43:10, this Beth Moore study explores what it means to believe God. Through studying the lives of Abraham, Moses, and others from Hebrews 11 as examples of persons who believed God, women will be encouraged to deepen their own trust in God and receive a fresh word from Him.

Matthew 5-7 contains the single longest portion of teaching from Jesus in the Bible, known as The Sermon on the Mount. Jesus expounds on some incredibly important theological and practical truth as He leads us toward spiritual maturity. This verse by verse study will seek to understand and apply these key teachings of Jesus.

Book of Daniel – Part 1 (Chapters 1-6)- Wednesday
“Living Out a Biblical Worldview.” Threatened with death, Daniel stuck to his guns and refused to adopt a pagan lifestyle. His worldview had God at the center and he lived it out even under extreme pressure to change. In this Kay Arthur Precept study, learn to adopt a biblical worldview and adhere to it even when it’s not the norm. You will have an understanding of your God and your future, which will anchor you in the storms of life and strengthen your faith.

Esther: It’s Tough Being a Woman (for women)- Thursday
This Beth Moore study is an in-depth and very personal examination of this great story of threat and deliverance. We will peel back the layers of history and show how very contemporary and applicable the story of Esther is to our lives. If you’ve ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther’s day, it’s tough today.
