First, be known.

We want all of our volunteers to be known by other leaders and volunteers at Alpine. A great introduction is to attend a Discover Alpine event at your campus, where you’ll get to meet the pastors and leaders that you’ll be serving alongside. Even more helpful will be to get involved in one of our many home groups offered throughout the week in various locations. Home groups at Alpine are always open to newcomers, and they’re the best place to develop meaningful relationships where you can put biblical truth into action.

Next, become an Alpiner.

Volunteers should be committed to Alpine Church as their home church. We encourage anyone who serves at Alpine to take “Alpine 201″, in which you’ll go over our statement of faith and our statement of commitment. This short workshop helps us get all of our leaders on the same page with our vision and values. (Those who are new to the Christian faith should start with “Alpine 101″, a class in which we cover the most important basics of Christianity.)

Finally, get specific.

Once you’ve gotten connected and made Alpine your home church, it’s time to find your ministry fit. We won’t make you jump through unnecessary hoops before you can start serving at Alpine. If you love God and want to serve at Alpine, we’ll help you find the right fit! We believe the local church is the hope of the world and you can make an impact through it. When you’re ready to jump in, talk with your campus pastor to learn where the need is and how to join the right team.

One Church, Two Locations

At Alpine our structure is a little unique. We are one church community, with a common mission, leadership, and set of beliefs. However, we meet in two different locations, one in Riverdale and one in Layton. At each location, you will experience the same teaching, worship, classes and opportunities to pursue God. We just want to make it easier for you to come to church closer to where you live. Each campus has its own Campus Pastor who watches over the spiritual care of the people at their campus, and there is a team of pastors who rotate and teach at both campuses. While each campus has its own weekly worship services and activities, there several opportunities throughout the year to come together as one church for special events, such as worship nights, men’s and women’s events, holiday services, and community outreach events. Each campus has the same goal of helping people pursue God, so we encourage you to pick the campus that you live closest to and start your journey of pursuing Him.
