At Alpine, our mission is to help people pursue God. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, our desire is to connect you with God and others and help you take the next step in your pursuit of God. We believe this pursuit of God flows out of three specific activities.
Understanding who God has revealed Himself to be in the Bible is the first step toward pursuing God. Our Sunday Worship services provide an opportunity to discover biblical truth through relevant messages and to respond to biblical truth through worship. On Sundays we also provide our Core Electives, which are classes designed to dig deeper into biblical truth and apply it to real life.
Getting connected with other believers provides the next step in pursuing God. The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone, but rather in community. Our Home Groups provide an opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with others in a smaller setting. These groups usually meet weekly in people’s homes and are a great way to encourage and support one another in the pursuit of God. We also provide an avenue for Mentoring where older, more experienced Christians can be linked with people who desire to grow and get to the next level in their spiritual growth.
Becoming a part of what God is doing, both here and around the world, ensures the next step in pursuing God. We believe God has given everyone a role to play in His church and it’s important for every believer to contribute and participate in God’s work. There are many opportunities for Local Serving in our church and community where a person’s unique gifts and resources can be used. There are also many ways to be involved in Global Outreach, through which the hope of Jesus Christ is shared around the world.
Our desire is to help as many people as possible experience the joy and freedom that comes from a growing relationship with God. The Bible promises that if we seek God with our whole heart, we will find Him. Our goal at Alpine is to provide you with the resources, relationships and encouragement you need as you engage in this pursuit of God.
